Accept all major payment methods

More donations, less admin, fewer fees.

Charities and foundations have a particular set of payment problems. Donations arrive across direct debit, BPAY, card, and the occasional one-off pledge. Each one needs a tax-deductible receipt. Each one needs to reconcile to the right donor record. Each percentage point of fees is a percentage point that didn't reach the cause.

ElasticPay is built so the receipting happens automatically, the reconciliation happens automatically, and the per-transaction fees are visible on the pricing page — not hidden behind a quote-on-request gate.

Why ElasticPay for not-for-profits

The three things charities most ask for, working out of the box.

Recurring giving on autopilot

Sign donors up once. Debit them monthly at 88c per transaction. Failed payments retry on a polite schedule. You stay focused on the cause, not the bank.

Tax-deductible receipts, automatically

Configure your DGR registration once. Every donation generates a compliant receipt — donor name, amount, your DGR number — emailed to the donor for their EOFY return.

BPAY for tax-deductible giving

Each donor or campaign gets a unique CRN. Payments reconcile to the donor record automatically. Major donors who prefer BPAY can give the way they want to.

Features for the way charities take money

Recurring, one-off, pledged, in-person, online — all on one platform with one set of receipts.

Recurring donations done right

Monthly, quarterly, or annual. Donors can change their amount or frequency themselves through a payment-link portal — they don't have to email your office.

BPAY giving codes

Each donor or campaign gets a unique CRN. Payments arrive pre-reconciled against the donor record. Tax-deductible receipts go out automatically.

One-off donations from a payment link

Send a link in an email, text, or social post. Donor pays in 30 seconds. You get a notification, the donation is reconciled, the receipt is sent — without a single manual step.

Pledge campaigns over time

For donors making a pledged commitment, set up a multi-payment schedule that drafts the agreed instalments on the agreed dates. Each instalment receipts itself.

Fundraiser-friendly pricing

Flat 1.5% + 25c on domestic cards. No surcharge on Amex. International cards add only the 1% interchange (we don't mark it up). What you see on the pricing page is what you actually pay.

Transparent pricing, on the website

So you know exactly what each dollar of donation actually delivers to your cause. No quotes, no negotiation, no 'enterprise' tier — same rates for everyone.

Pricing for not-for-profits

Same transparent per-transaction rates as everywhere else. Recurring direct debit at 88c is usually the right starting point for donor giving, but every method is available on every account.

Every payment method is available on every account. The prices below are what each transaction costs to process.

Questions charities ask

Can we issue tax-deductible receipts automatically?

Yes. Configure your DGR registration once in the dashboard. Every donation generates a receipt that meets ATO requirements — donor name, amount, your DGR registration number — and is emailed to the donor immediately.

What happens when a recurring donation fails?

We retry on a schedule and send the donor a payment link to update their bank or card details. If we can't recover the donation after the retries, we notify you. You're not chasing failed debits or losing donors to silent failures.

Can donors change their recurring amount themselves?

Yes. The payment link in the donor's first receipt becomes a self-service portal. They can change the amount, the frequency, or cancel entirely — without contacting your team. Every change writes a webhook to your CRM if you've integrated one.

Do you support pledged campaigns?

Yes. A pledge is a multi-payment schedule over a fixed timeline. Each instalment runs as a regular direct debit or card debit on the agreed date. The pledge total is tracked, the donor can see their progress, and receipts go out per instalment.

Are there discounts for charities?

Our standard pricing is already designed for cost-sensitive use — flat domestic-card rates, no monthly minimums, free refunds. We don't gate that behind a separate 'charity tier' you have to apply for. If you're processing enough volume that further custom pricing makes sense, talk to us — otherwise the standard pricing on the pricing page applies.

How quickly can we go live and start taking donations?

Sign up free and you're in the sandbox immediately — you can take test donations and verify the flow end-to-end. Going live involves a KYB verification, usually 1–2 business days once you submit your charity registration details.
